Laila is a highly educated violinist, graduated from Baku Music Academy. For ten years she performed as a solo violinist in the Azerbaijan State TV and Radio Orchestra. She also founded the first pop string quartet in the country, “SimParty”, and taught violin and viola at the Rostropovich State Music School.

As a singer, she was a member of the historical jazz polyphonic ensemble “Gaya” for more than five years.
